Donald Trump confirmed to a crowd at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) that he has plans for the Republican Party.
He wants to leverage the power within the GOP rather than split it and make a third party.
“We are not starting new parties, and we will not be dividing our power and our strength. Instead, we will be united and strong like never before,” said Trump according to a pre-released transcript of the anticipated Trump speech.
Many have speculated that Trump might turn his following into an alternative political powerhouse, so this news is good for those who want to see the GOP remain as the primary rebuttal to the progressive agenda of the Democrats.
