It isn’t just the presidential race and it isn’t just North Carolina.
These kinds of trends are lining up across the country.
In a generic poll, which literally just asks would you vote for Republican person or Democrat person in the next Presidential election, favors Republicans as well.
Dr. Peter Franica, Director of the ECU Center for Survey Research, put it best:
“President Joe Biden’s current job approval rating of 35 percent in North Carolina presents a major obstacle for Democrats running for office in the state.”
