CNN’s Don Lemon just completely lost it on live television. Even his far-left network has been humiliated and he could be facing consequences soon.
“If you voted for Trump, you voted for the person who the Klan supported,” said Lemon. “You voted for the person who Nazis support. You voted for the person who the alt-right supports. That’s the crowd that you are in.”
Slightly earlier in the discussion, Lemon’s CNN colleague, Chris Cuomo, asked, “Right, and what if they say, ‘I don’t agree with those people, I just like Trump’s policies?'” Even he was trying to make a distinction.
Lemon responded, “Get out of the crowd with them.” The context surrounded the Capitol riot, in which very few people were seen with a Confederate flag or a Nazi-inspired symbol. This is not representative of the average Trump supporter.
But while Lemon attempted to make a distinction himself — especially after Cuomo’s prodding — he contradicted himself entirely. He is wanting to shame all 74 million Trump voters for the speech and actions of a few.
This is a typical tactic of the far-left and it is one of the reasons why Trump was elected in the first place. Enough Americans were tired of being told that they couldn’t love the United States of America.
