Sen. Diane Feinstein (D-CA) has seen her lowest approval ratings in her three decades in the Senate, with only 30% of Californians approving of her in a new poll.
Two-thirds of Californians polled also thought the country was going in the wrong direction, at a time when Democrats control both houses of Congress and the White House.
Director of the poll Mark DiCamillo commented that he had never seen such “disaffection” for Democrats, including Vice President Kamala Harris, who was also underwater in her ratings in the poll.
Feinstein is even underwater with women voters in the poll, with one-third approving of her and 42% disapproving.
“For her to be underwater among female voters is a very significant and ominous sign for her,” DiCamillo said.
