Democrats were just completely nailed for using fake evidence. This is absolutely unbelievable and they have been caught red-handed. Incredible.
“Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) used the infamous Charlottesville ‘very fine people’ hoax to argue that the Senate had to convict former President Donald Trump,” reported Breitbart News.
Of course, in Trump’s actual statement, he explicitly excluded white supremacists and neo-Nazis and even condemned them outright. His “very fine people on both sides” comment was referring to peaceful protesters that were there only.
Specifically, those who simply were against taking the Robert E. Lee monument down but we not connected to any racist element and, yes, even the leftists there that decided to counter-protest but remained non-violent.
This has been a narrative for Democrats for years now. Raskin is just the latest anti-Trump liberal to use it for political purposes. Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam (D), for example, appeared in black face and had the audacity to bring this up.
Appearing on CNN back in October, Northam repeated the lie that Trump called neo-Nazis “very fine people” and, of course, CNN ate it up. But this is all for show — Trump will be acquitted in a matter of days.
