House minority whip Steve Scalise (R-LA) confirmed that no matter the outcome of the election, the Republican party stands ready to fight back against the socialist agenda pushed by the Democrat party.
Scalise also pointed out the growing schism between the far-left Democrats and the more moderate liberals and how there are opportunities to poach the support of the more moderate wing of the Democrat party.
Scalise made an appearance on Fox Business Network’s “Varney & Company,” where he said, “They’re liberals versus the socialists on the Democrat side if they just voted with us and worked with us on a lot of things, they would not have had those problems, but regardless of that, we’re going to continue fighting for the conservative beliefs we have, and we have at least a dozen more members coming in than we had before to join us in the fight.”
The socialist agenda has been growing in the Democrat party even though socialism is electoral poison. The socialism touted at the DNC convention led to Democrats losing a big chunk of their majority in the House.
Scalise continued promising, “If they’re going to try to move a socialist agenda, we’re going to fight it tooth and nail. And they’ll be rejected at the ballot [box] again, and we’ll win the majority back.”
If moderate Democrats don’t join Republicans in fighting back against socialism, the voters will likely throw them out in 2022. Democrats already lost several seats, which could continue if they don’t stop the race to the far left.
