As the scandal-ridden Democrat governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo, scrambles to maintain his tenuous grasp on power, a new reportmakes his political future even more suspect.
According to Breibart News, Cuomo’s poll numbers are “tanking, showing the governor at the lowest approval rating of his career.”
But that’s not the most alarming news from the Quinnipac poll. Cuomo’s approval rating is at a paltry 39 percent while his disapproval rating has plummeted to 48 percent. “Today’s numbers mark the lowest job approval for Cuomo since he took office in 2011,” noted Quinnepac.
The poll consisted of New York voters who lean strongly left and are staunchly Democrat. Therefore, it is Cuomo’s own party that is abandoning him.
“The survey asked if Cuomo should run for reelection as governor of New York in 2022,” reported Breibart.” Only 25 percent would like to see him run for reelection, and 66 percent do not want him to run again.”
