The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) has released a new series of ads attacking Republicans with false claims that they support the conspiracy theory of QAnon.
The half-million dollar ad buy is the first for the 2022 midterm elections, and it says Republicans who voted against the second Donald Trump impeachment are “standing with Q and now with you.”
The ads targeted Reps. Mike Garcia (R-CA), Young Kim (R-CA), Michelle Steel (R-CA), Maria Elvira Salazar (R-FL), Don Bacon (R-NE), Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA), Beth Van Duyne (R-TX), and House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA).
The only trouble with the Democrats’ logic is that Garcia, Bacon Fitzpatrick, and McCarthy all voted to condemn QAnon in October, and Kim, Steel, Salazar, and Van Duyne were elected after the vote and didn’t have the chance to condemn it officially.
The entire ad campaign is a lie, but that’s become par for the course for Democrats these days. And they’re only getting started.
