The news just dropped a debate bombshell and Joe Biden is absolutely furious. The Democratic nominee for president can’t believe it, but President Donald Trump is smiling. Biden’s campaign could be finished.
“According to Rasmussen, after including one night of post-debate polling in its five-day rolling average, Trump’s job approval rating climbed from 46 to 49 percent, while his job disapproval number dropped from 53 to 51 percent,” reported Breitbart News.
This means Trump’s numbers are trending back up, which is terrible news for Biden — especially after he was under the impression he won the debate. On the contrary, Americans saw Biden and Chris Wallace team up on Trump.
From the get-go, it was not a fair debate. Wallace managed it horribly and played favorites; he asked Trump “gotcha” questions while giving Biden the easy way out most of the time. It was one of the most disgraceful examples of bias in recent memory.
Additionally, Trump’s decision to nominate a candidate to fill the seat of the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg may have played a role — probably even a bigger one than the debate.
While the president’s choice to nominate Judge Amy Coney Barrett was initially met with skepticism, “Trump and the GOP have done a good job making their case for filling the seat, so people might be settling down a bit, getting used to the idea,” wrote Breitbart’s John Nolte.
