Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) just confirmed the rumors — the media is behind it all and he made the truth known on national television. This is incredible.
“We’re five months into President Biden’s presidency,” said Crenshaw to MSNBC’s Chuck Todd. “There is a time to move on. You guys in the press love doing this, and I get it, right, that the press is largely liberal.”
The context of the discussion centered around Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) being ousted from GOP leadership and former President Donald Trump’s concerns about election fraud in 2016.
Todd simply wouldn’t let go of these topics, attempting to bait Crenshaw into a fruitless debate that Todd didn’t really want to have in the first place. Crenshaw didn’t let it happen.
“I never get asked about this,” said Crenshaw referring to Cheney’s ouster. “I get asked, why is there a rise in inflation, why is there a border crisis, why can’t we get gas, why can’t I hire people, why are people getting paid by the government to stay at home instead of coming to work?”
He referred to the Cheney situation as “internal drama” that most Americans don’t really care about. Of course, it is worth noting that many conservative voters are admittedly happy that she is gone.
