According to a new poll, a bipartisan majority of voters think New York Governor Andrew Cuomo (D) should resign, be impeached if he does not resign, and be criminally charged for allegedly sexually harassing at least 11 women who worked with and for him during his time as governor.
70% of voters said Cuomo should resign, 63% said he should be impeached, and 55% said he should be criminally charged, Quinnipiac said.
Before a report was released confirming the alleged harassment, only 43% said Cuomo should resign.
Quinnipiac University Polling Analyst Mary Snow said, “New Yorkers of all stripes are sending a clear message to Governor Cuomo that it is time to step down from office.”
Will he get the message and change his mind about resigning? Given his historic arrogance, it is probably not likely.
