Governor Andrew Cuomo (D-NY) just shared a tragic update. During a press conference on COVID-19, he revealed that the highly-contagious virus has infected a member of his own family. This is awful.
“My brother Chris is positive for coronavirus, found out this morning,” said the Democrat governor, referring to his brother, Chris Cuomo, the host of CNN’s Cuomo Prime Time. He then divulged additional details.
“Now, he is going to be fine,” said Cuomo. “He’s young, in good shape, strong — not as strong as he thinks — but he will be fine.” Cuomo also said that Chris is “a really sweet, beautiful guy,” and his “best friend.”
Many Americans have recently caught video clips of New York governor and Chris hashing it out on CNN, however, according to Gov. Cuomo, that is just part of the job — just “one dimension” of Chris.
We should take some time to pray for Chris Cuomo and everyone infected with COVID-19. While some people have only experienced minor symptoms, over 4,700 Americans have died from the virus so far.
The data, compiled by John Hopkins University, which is tracked in real-time, also currently notes that nearly 8,500 Americans have recovered from the virus. There have been 213,372 confirmed cases in the United States.
