A rising country star was just announced dead at only 30 years old. Her family and friends need prayers right now — this is a tragic and unexpected turn of events. Millions of fans are in mourning.
In a heartbreaking tweet, the brother of country singer Cady Groves, Cody, revealed that she had “left this world.” He also said, “Details are limited right now but family is trying to get them and will keep people updated.”
Shortly thereafter, he followed up with another post and provided additional details. “I hate that I even have to do this, but apparently the world and internet is a cluster of twisted misinformation,” said Groves.
It has been determined that Cady “died of natural causes,” however, he added that his sister “had some medical problems last fall and our best guess at this point … is that they had resurfaced.”
Groves also mentioned the last time he interacted with Cady “in depth” before receiving the terrible news. She had sent him some songs for him “to critique and give feedback on.” She was preparing to release a new album.
Cady Groves, a recording artist for Vel Records, had hit songs such as “This Little Girl” and “Love Actually.” She toured with big names as well — Good Charlotte, LMFAO, and Third Eye Blind to name a few.
