The coronavirus has rocked Fox News and millions of fans are stunned. Loyal viewers across the country can’t believe this just happened — especially with Election Day just around the corner.
“We wanted to inform you about recent developments of a few positive COVID-19 cases at FOX News Media,” announced Fox News Media President Jay Wallace. He said that “any employee who has tested positive will be quarantining.”
According to Mediaite, Wallace and several other Fox News reporters — including Bret Baier, Martha MacCallum, Dana Perino, and Juan Williams — were on a private flight after the last debate and a passenger tested positive for the virus.
They will all be “under quarantine until they test negative three times in a row,” the report continued. Since March, many of the network’s shows have been conducted remotely in order to minimize the possibility of infection among staff.
This situation with some of Fox News’ top personalities could require creativity for election night — which is less than one week away. But there is also a decent chance that none of them will test positive for the virus.
Regardless, November 3 is shaping up to be full of fireworks. The polls are much closer than Democrats want to admit and President Donald Trump could be heading for another historic upset over the political establishment.
