Senate Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-SC) announced Thursday that he will start holding hearings into Crossfire Hurricane, the FBI investigation into the Trump campaign, this summer.
“The Judiciary Committee will begin holding multiple, in-depth congressional hearings regarding all things related to Crossfire Hurricane starting in early June,” Graham said.
The first phase will examine the legitimacy of the Flynn investigation and the unmasking requests made about Flynn, but will move later this summer to oversight of the FISA process and its abuse that was detailed in the Michael Horowitz report earlier this year.
The last phase of the hearings will investigate whether Robert Mueller should have ever been appointed to look into Trump.
Graham made the move after President Donald Trump pushed him in a tweet to stop talking about the investigation and “do it.”
