CNN just finally caved in. The far-left network has admitted the truth about President Donald Trump and people are stunned — the constant pressure actually worked this time.
“I shouldn’t have juxtaposed the two thoughts; Hitler and his evil stand alone, of course, in history,” said CNN’s Christiane Amanpour apologizing for her recent comments. “I regret any pain my statement may have caused.”
Before being forced to issue an apology, Amanpour openly compared Nazi Germany and the Holocaust to Trump’s administration. That she actually said this on national television speaks volumes about her character.
Invoking Kristallnacht, she said it was “the warning shot across the bow of our human civilization that led to genocide against a whole identity” and “an attack on fact, knowledge, history and truth.” Then came her Trump comparison.
Amanpour said, “After four years of a modern-day assault on those same values by Donald Trump, the Biden-Harris team pledges a return to norms, including the truth.”
Her statement invited quick backlash on social media and from prominent Jewish groups, including the State of Israel. Anat Sultan-Dadon, Israel’s consul-general to Atlanta, wrote CNN directly and demanded an apology.
