Rep. Guy Reschenthaler (R-PA) said Friday on Fox Business Network’s “Evening Edit” that Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR) “meddled” with the FBI by sending a letter to Director Christopher Wray in October that encouraged him to “resist pressure from President Trump and other partisan actors to take any actions intended to benefit President Trump politically on the eve of the election.”
The letter referred to investigations of the Biden family that were kept from the public until after the election.
“Of course they meddled,” Reschenthaler said of Wray’s apparent decision to hold back the information from voters that Hunter Biden was being investigated by the FBI and IRS over possible tax fraud and money laundering.
“[L]et’s say the roles were reversed and these were Republicans telling the DOJ to sit on a story regarding a Republican presidential candidate’s family,” he continued. “The media would be going berserk, the fact that there’s a double standard here is so apparent and the hypocrisy is incredibly rich.”
Looks like the election might have been stolen in more ways than one.
