Two Afghan refugees have been charged with child sex crimes and domestic abuse after coming to Fort McCoy in Wisconsin from Afghanistan.
The Department of Justice has charged 20-year-old Bahrullah Noori with three counts of engaging in a sexual act with a minor and one count alleging the use of force. The minors involved were 16 years old, and were at least four years younger than Noori.
Also charged was 32-year-old Mohammad Haroon Imaad, who was accused of strangling and suffocating his wife on September 7 at Fort McCoy.
The two men face 10 years and 30 years in jail respectively. Their immigration status is currently unclear.
How many more Afghan men are abusing women and children within the U.S. now? These charges are probably only the tip of the iceberg.
