The news just dropped about a career-ending decision. Trump has completely shocked the nation — millions of people want to know what will happen next.
“I can tell you, Sean, any senator or any congressmen — meaning on this side — that does not fight tomorrow, I’m telling you, their political career is over,” said Eric Trump on Fox News earlier this week.
Referring to the pending vote on Congress to confirm the Electoral College results, he also said the “the MAGA movement is going nowhere” and Republican lawmakers who do not object to the results “will get primaried.”
After all the votes were tallied, “The Senate rejected the objection 93-6, and the House rejected it 303-121,” reported CBS News. This means six Senate Republicans objected to the results, while 121 House Republicans did likewise.
Where the MAGA movement goes from here is anyone’s guess, however, Eric Trump has drawn a line in the sand already by promising primary opponents for any Republicans who did not support the president.
Now, in the meantime, conservatives are having to face Democrat control of the federal government following the defeat of Sens. David Perdue (R-GA) and Kelly Loeffler (R-GA) in Georgia. We are in perilous times.
