New data released by the United States Census Bureau revealed that the state of California has lost 1% of its total population as Californians left the state in droves.
The loss of over 300,000 residents was the largest in the nation, and considering the situation in the Golden State, it’s surprising even more Americans haven’t fled.
The Census Bureau found that “In 2021, 20 states and the District of Columbia lost residents via net domestic migration. Largest domestic migration losses were in California (-367,299), New York (-352,185), and Illinois (-122,460).”
It’s worth noting that all the states that topped the list for population loss are Democrat-led states.
The likes of Governor Gavin Newsom (D-CA), J. B. Pritzker (D-IL), and Kathy Hochul (D-NY) have caused an exodus of Americans thanks to their terrible leadership.
Blue states like California, New York, and Illinois forced Americans to endure economy-crushing lockdowns and mask mandates. Many Americans clearly have had enough and are running for more prosperous red states like Florida and Texas.
