Deputy Prime Minister Dominic Raab originally told the world that there were 250 British people in hospital with the Omicron variant of the Chinese flu, otherwise known as COVID.
By the time his next interview rolled around later that day, his estimate had been revised down to ten.
'You've done two interviews this morning, you were asked a simple question, how many people are in hospital? You told Sky News 250 people and you told BBC Breakfast 9.'
