The new law went into effect on Saturday in the state of Oregon that requires Americans to lock their weapons or store them securely in their homes.
The new law, known as SB 554, was passed back in June and signed by Oregon Governor Kate Brown (D).
The bill was passed in spite of the flood of concerns about accessing weapons to fight off home intruders. The new rule has incredibly tough requirements that will make accessing a gun for self-defense incredibly difficult.
Jim Mischel of Sheridan, Oregon, was a victim of gun lock rules. His wife was home alone, and when a home intruder entered their home, he says that “She was unable to get the box unlocked and the pistol out before he got into the bedroom and threatened her with his gun. She has never recovered.”
Now all Americans in Oregon could find themselves similarly victimized by Democrats obsessed with infringing on their 2nd Amendment rights.
Oregon’s new rule is “among the toughest in the U.S.” Americans wondering what life looks like under Democrat leadership need to pay attention to how Americans’ rights are being violated in Oregon.
