Former President Bill Clinton visited the White House and had lunch with President Joe Biden on Monday, according to White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki.
Psaki said Biden and Clinton have had several discussions since Biden took office, including one about having lunch together. “I’m sure they will have a wide-ranging discussion,” she said.
The meeting came shortly after Hillary Clinton, formerly the Secretary of State and a twice-failed presidential candidate, said she would not run for president even if Biden decided not to run for a second term.
Biden also had lunch with former President Barack Obama in April on the anniversary of Obamacare’s passage.
At a speech about Obamacare, Obama referred to Biden as “the Vice President,” but then claimed it was a joke.
