BREAKING: Bill Barr Drops Hammer – Google Scrambling

Attorney General Bill Barr is dropping the hammer on Google and joining State Attorney Generals in filing antitrust suits against the search giant.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton will be leading the state’s lawsuit against Google. Barr has already been involved in a federal probe into Google.

Paxton said that States have, “issued [civil subpoenas] to Google and impacted third parties. We hope to have the investigation wrapped up by fall, if we determine that filing is merited we will go to court soon after that.”

A bipartisan group of legal officials has been investigating Gooogle for some time and signs of Google’s anti-competitive business practices are everywhere.

This investigation is crucially important and may affect everyone. There is a real possibility that Google could be forced to break up if significant antitrust violations are found.

For many Americans who have long distrusted Google’s power, this is good news. It is long past time to reign in Google’s power and influence.
