Karine Jean-Pierre, who is set to become the White House Press Secretary after Jen Psaki leaves the post to take a position with MSNBC, tweeted in 2016 that Donald Trump “stole” the election from Hillary Clinton and in 2020 tweeted that Georgia Governor Brian Kemp stole the race from Stacy Abrams in 2018.
“Stolen emails, stolen drone, stolen election …..welcome to the world of #unpresidented Trump,” Jean-Pierre said after the 2016 election.
In 2020, she tweeted, “Reminder: Brian Kemp stole the gubernatorial election from Georgians and Stacey Abrams.”
The tweets should be controversial if Democrats cared about being consistent, since they have been accusing any Republicans who suggest that the 2020 election was stolen from Trump of sedition for a year and a half now.
But we know that Democrats are never consistent; if they didn’t have double standards, they wouldn’t have any standards at all.
