The Biden administration has just issued a huge reversal and Israel is in shock. Our strongest ally in the Middle East can’t believe the terrible news.
Secretary of State Tony Blinken has failed “to endorse the Trump administration’s 2019 recognition” of the Golan Heights, saying that “we are nowhere near that.” Israel’s prime minister has responded.
“The Golan was and will remain part of Israel,” said Benjamin Netanyahu. “With an agreement, without an agreement, we are not coming down from the Golan. It will remain a sovereign part of the State of Israel.”
Netanyahu, Israel’s longest-serving prime minister, forged a strong relationship with President Donald Trump. Netanyahu even named a town in the Golan Heights after Trump; it was truly a wonderful friendship.
