Joe Biden made a false claim about his past yet again during the Friday night Democrat presidential debate in New Hampshire ahead of Tuesday’s primary.
Biden has repeatedly said he got involved in politics through the civil rights movement and that he was an activist who marched in the 1970s.
The extent of Biden’s civil rights involvement was a few desegregation protests in the early 1970s. He was not a leader in the movement or even a marcher, his advisers reminded him.
But Biden ignored their warnings and continued to make false claims.
Remember, Biden was also accused of plagiarism during his 1988 presidential primary campaign and had to resign in disgrace. He’s been running for president–and failing–for a long, long time.
