Presumptive Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden vowed Wednesday that if elected, he would do something that no other president has ever been able to do–reverse a Supreme Court decision.
Biden brazenly said he would make it his priority to force religious organizations to fund contraception and abortion for their employees as part of Obamacare insurance plans, even though the Supreme Court said that doing so was a violation of religious liberty.
And he could do it, too. Not directly, but by rescinding President Donald Trump’s executive order that gave those organizations an exemption from the mandate.
Voters should not give Biden the chance to show what he will do, but if they do the Supreme Court may be even more definitive about protecting religious liberty the next time.
It may even give the government another reason to completely dismantle Obamacare at last.
