Former Democrat Senator Chris Dodd, who is a longtime friend of President Joe Biden’s, suggested that Biden may be quitting on the presidency and won’t seek election in 2024.
Dodd spoke to the New York Times and said, “I’m hoping the President runs for re-election. But for whatever reason, that might not be the case, it’s hard to believe there would be a shortlist without Kamala’s name on it. She’s the vice president of the United States.”
Joe Biden has been such a disaster in the Oval Office that his approval ratings have crashed to 37.8%. Vice President Kamala Harris isn’t doing much better in terms of approval ratings.
While Senator Dodd seems confident that Vice President Harris is next in line to succeed Joe Biden, that assessment may not age well.
Democrats aren’t going to say it out loud, but Joe Biden is toast and Vice President Harris is a political nightmare.
Chris Dodd is likely right on the money with his prediction about the President. Joe Biden will not be running in 2024 and Democrats are going to primary Kamala Harris with a more palatable candidate.
