Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden refused to answer questions from a reporter about the FBI having a laptop that belonged to son Hunter Biden that allegedly contains emails in which a representative of Burisma thanks Hunter Biden for arranging a meeting with his father, who was then vice president.
While Biden has not answered any questions about the laptop or the information it contains, his campaign has said that it is possible Joe Biden did meet with the Burisma official informally.
“Biden’s campaign would not rule out the possibility that the former VP had some kind of informal interaction with [the representative] which wouldn’t appear on Biden’s official schedule,” Politico reported this week.
Trump associate Rudy Giuliani was given a copy of the laptop’s hard drive by the repair shop owner, and Giuliani gave the information from the drive to the New York Post, which published the story.
Twitter and Facebook have both censored the story even though the repair shop owner and a party to some of the emails have verified it.
