Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden just received some terrible news from Arizona. He is absolutely terrified, but President Donald Trump is smiling. It is happening right now.
According to the Trafalgar Group, which accurately predicted the 2016 election, Trump currently leads “48.9 percent to Biden’s 46.4 percent” and “less than one percent now remains undecided.”
Before anti-Trumpers try to discount Trafalgar’s poll as biased, however, Rassmussen Reports has corroborated Trump’s lead, concluding that the president leads Biden 48 percent to 45 percent in the Grand Canyon State.
Democrats should go ahead and write Arizona off the list. While the state has trended blue in recent years, the people of Arizona aren’t going to election Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Too much is at stake in this election.
In fact, the most recent, pre-election polls are mostly trending in Trump’s favor — and this is a bad sign for the Biden campaign. There simply isn’t any excitement for his candidacy; it is all driven by anti-Trump fervor.
That isn’t going to be enough to win. Candidates need actual fans and Trump has them in the millions. The mainstream media is going to be shocked when he is elected to four more years this week against all conventional wisdom (again).
