Hunter Biden, the scandal-ridden son of President Joe Biden, has yet another controversy on his hands. Peter Schweizer, president of the Government Accountability Institute, exposed Biden’s “genius” plan to sell paintings to anonymous buyers for hundreds of thousands.
Schweizer said on Fox News’s “Sunday Morning Futures” that, “It is genius because — in a very corrupt way, because what was the criticism of Hunter’s previous moneymaking schemes? When he worked went to work for Burisma, the energy company, the criticism was he was getting a million dollars a year. He had no background in Ukrainian energy regulation, no background in energy. Well, art is different than the business world. It’s entirely subjective.”
Biden is selling his amateur works for immense sums of money from anonymous buyers despite having no previous pedigree for art.
With the White House backing him, Hunter Biden has established a foolproof plan to make millions selling access to the White House without getting in trouble.
Schweizer continued saying, “The Senate, actually, in 2019 issued a report talking about how the art world is rife with money laundering and corruption involving foreign oligarchs because it’s so hard to trace. So it’s a massively troublesome problem. And their explanations simply don’t carry any weight.”
One can only imagine the uproar if Donald Trump Jr. had been receiving huge sums of money from anonymous sources during his father’s presidency. Biden’s art sales are simply donations with extra steps to avoid the law.
