Tara Reade, the woman who accused Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden of sexual assault, has called for Biden to drop out of the White House race.
In her first appearance on-camera since she brought her allegations against Biden into the public eye, Reade made it clear what she wants.
In her interview with Megyn Kelly, Reade said, “I want to say, ‘You and I were there, Joe Biden. Please step forward and be held accountable. You should not be running on character for the president of the United States.”
Reade didn’t just call Biden out for his actions, she also talked about the harassment she has faced. Reade continued, “I got a death threat from that because they thought I was being a traitor to America. I mean, these are serious things. And, his campaign has taken this position that they all want women to be able to speak safely.”
With more information and corroborating evidence emerging that lends Reade’s story credibility, Biden’s campaign has a series problem on its hands.
While it is doubtful Biden would actually back out of the race, the political damage is being done and it is very possible these accusations could sink his campaign.
