Former Vice President Joe Biden’s campaign could be in big trouble. Calls have started for him to drop out of the race and America is stunned. This is an unexpected announcement.
“Joe Biden should withdraw from the presidential race — for multiple reasons,” wrote Washington Examiner columnist Quin Hillyer, citing his “sexual assault allegation, China, and his own age and health.”
To recap the tangibles: Biden has been accused of sexual assault by one of his former Senate aides, Tara Reade. His approach on China is economic suicide. And he is clearly in a state of mental decline.
“Though credibly accused of assault, he insists that adjudication of assault claims should weigh so heavily in favor of the accuser that he has an absolute obligation to live by those standards,” noted Hillyer.
This means Biden cannot be allowed to have a double-standard on the issue — he has boxed himself into a corner, and he has to live with it. And his legal position is patently unfair, too.
But if that’s not enough, Biden’s behavior towards China has been disastrous. He took Hunter Biden on Air Force Two and his struck “a sweetheart business deal.” And do we even need to mention his mental fitness?
