Footage resurfaced Friday of Joe Biden sexual assault accuser Tara Reade’s mother calling in to “Larry King Live” in 1993 and discussing what to do about her daughter’s “problems” with a prominent senator.
Reade confirmed that it was her mother on the call, which did not mention Reade or Biden by name or mention the specific nature of the problems. Reade’s mother passed away in 2016.
Biden has denied the allegations through his campaign spokesperson, but no reporter has asked him directly about the accusation.
While Biden continues to be the presumptive Democrat presidential nominee and has been endorsed by nearly every major Democrat including Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) after Sander dropped out of the race earlier this month, both Sanders and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) have said they think the allegations should be investigated thoroughly.
I didn’t think the day would ever come when I agreed with Sanders and Ocasio-Cortez about anything.
