The New York Times made the shocking decision to post an article questioning President Biden’s future in politics. Even the liberal mainstream media isn’t comfortable with President Biden making a return in 2024.
The New York Times is concerned that President Biden’s “age” will limit his “capability to take the fight to former President Donald J. Trump a second time.” The Democrat Party is gearing up for a likely return of former President Trump in the 2024 presidential election.
The article read, “As the challenges facing the nation mount and fatigued base voters show low enthusiasm, Democrats in union meetings, the back rooms of Capitol Hill and party gatherings from coast to coast are quietly worrying about Mr. Biden’s leadership, his age and his capability.”
Two years ago, Trump making a comeback and threatening President Biden was unthinkable. Now that scenario is so likely that even the New York Times is throwing President Biden under the bus.
Many Democrats would like to see a younger, less problematic candidate to run in the 2024 presidential election. The issue for Democrats is the talent pool is extremely shallow.
The real question is if President Biden is going to comply with demands for him to step down in favor of someone more suitable to take on Donald Trump. So far, the President has signaled that he has no intentions of stepping down, setting up a major conflict in 2024.
