A beloved American actress just passed away. Millions of fans are in mourning, and her co-stars are paying tribute to their long-time cast member.
Shelley Morrison, best known for her role on the TV show ‘Will & Grace,’ died from heart failure at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. She was 83-years-old.
Morrison appeared in 68 episodes of the show’s original run as Rosario Salazar, a maid from El Salvador, and also made a cameo appearance in the show’s recent reboot as well.
Actress Debra Messing, who plays the Grace of ‘Will & Grace,’ released a statement on social media remembering Morrison and paying tribute to her.
“Oh, Shelley… what a loss,” Messing said. “Our dear Rosario has passed on. Shelley had a career that spanned decades, but she will always be our dear Rosie.”
“All my love to Walter and the entire family,” she continued. Messing made headlines in September for suggesting that Hollywood supporters of President Trump should be blacklisted.
