Attorney General William Barr just trapped former FBI Director James Comey. The investigation into the origins of the Trump-Russia ‘collusion’ farce is heating up, and Comey can’t escape accountability.
According to former Trump campaign aide Carter Page, the FBI used falsehoods in order to justify spying on him and he may end up suing. This comes after Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report was made public.
“Right now, as we speak, we have our team of attorneys going through that document in great detail,” said Page on Fox News. You can almost hear Comey cursing after finding out he’s not off the hook yet.
Attorney General Barr, Inspector General Horowitz, and Barr’s key appointee, U.S. Attorney John Durham, have made political life miserable for Democrats lately as the trio has continued their detailed probe.
In fact, Horowitz’s report revealed “significant inaccuracies and omissions” in the FBI’s applications for a warrant to spy on Trump campaign officials, including Page. The evidence is damning.
Page is committed to clearing his name and exposing Comey’s FBI for any wrongdoing against him. In the meantime, we can also look forward to the results of Durham’s investigation into the scandal.
