An arrest notice was just announced and the news is spreading nationwide. Authorities finally caught her — she will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
Susan Weddle, a special education teacher in Florida, has resigned from her job at a local school and been arrested by police after an investigation uncovered an alleged sexual relationship with a teenager.
According to reports, the 15-year-old boy told the state’s Department of Children and Families that he and Weddle had sex “hundreds of times” for more than a year. The teen is also her son’s friend.
The initial encounter “started after Weddle got drunk with the teenager after a football game her son had been playing in, according to police reports,” reported The Daily Mail.
Multiple sexual rendezvous reportedly happened after the first time, including “at both of their homes, in her car and at the beach,” the story continued.
There is no word yet on whether Weddle, 40, will plead innocent or guilty. The alleged evidence includes an eye-witness account and explicit photos sent via text message.
