Arizona just pushed for a major reversal and President Joe Biden is completely stunned. He can’t escape the truth now — Democrats can’t believe it.
According to Breitbart News, Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich (R) “has filed suit against President Joe Biden’s administration” for seeking “to halt deportations of illegal aliens for at least 100 days.”
Brnovich’s lawsuit follows one filed by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) for the same reason — that a pause in deportations is illegal and unconstitutional. Biden certainly cannot do it by executive order.
It is why a federal judge subsequently “blocked the order from taking effect,” albeit temporarily. This will allow the Biden administration and states opposing the order to get their cases together.
But the halt on Biden’s order is a major win for the Constitution regardless — and a staggering defeat for Biden less than a month into his presidency. It will be interesting to see how the case ultimately ends up.
The Supreme Court may also have to get involved. This could end up being another test for the conservative-leaning court and whether the Constitution will be respected or fundamentally damaged (to please modern political whims).
