Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is making headlines for her recent attempt to blacklist people who helped President Donald Trump get elected.
Call it a blacklist. Call it a communist tactic. Call it a fascist terror move. But whatever you call it, know that it is just the beginning.
And it is not a fact that is lost on former political operative, Karl Rove.
“I think it is fascism, I think it is over the top, I think it is unacceptable in this country that political differences can be dealt with in such a way,” said Rove in a recent interview.
AOC still has the tweet available on her timeline, “Is anyone archiving these Trump sycophants for when they try to downplay or deny their complicity in the future? I foresee decent probability of many deleted Tweets, writings, photos in the future,” said Ocasio-Cortez.
The irony wasn’t lost on Rove.
“Imagine what would happen if a Tea Party activist had said people who served in the Obama administration, there will be consequences for those hiring them,” said Rove. “The media would be outraged, we ought to be outraged at this. This is un-American.”
