Well this is embarrassing.
Dr. Anthony Fauci is being criticized for his previous praise of New York’s response to the coronavirus pandemic.
“They did it correctly,” said Fauci.
Of course, evidence is rocking the national headlines that New York actually tampered with the data to hide the truth about their coronavirus numbers.
Fox News reports that “nursing home COVID-19 deaths in the state were undercounted by as much as 50%” and a top aid of Cuomo admitted “the administration had withheld data on COVID-19 deaths at nursing homes to avoid federal scrutiny.”
So why would Fauci think they “did it correctly?”
It probably has more to do with the fact that he is pleased someone obeyed him than the efficacy of Fauci’s suggestions. There is little if any correlation between states that follow Fauci’s recommendations and coronavirus numbers.
