New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) could finally be out. Another abuse bombshell has ruined his reputation. He’ll never be back.
“I, for one, argued internally that we didn’t need an investigation,” said Assemblyman Ron Kim (D), a member of the New York legislature. “We already had impeachable evidence to remove him from a position of power.”
“Because every day he is in office, he’s using the resources around him and abusing his position of power to protect himself,” continued Kim, referring to the corrupt, embattled governor.
Kim shared his pointed remarks on The Hill’s “Rising” program, and his words are particularly significant since he is from the same political party as Cuomo.
Usually, governors and members of the legislature — if they are from the same party — typically work hard to play as nice as possible and work as a team. This time, the situation is different.
Cuomo is guilty of covering up nursing home deaths due to his disastrous COVID-119 policies and he has also been accused by multiple women of sexual harassment. It is time for him to go.
