Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has been one of the biggest proponents of mass mail-in voting, but she tweeted a different plan for herself on Sunday.
“I’m voting early in person. What’s your voting plan?” she asked.
In June, Ocasio-Cortez accused Republicans of opposing mail-in voting because it “chips away at their ability” to “target and disenfranchise Black voters and people of color.”
Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden, who has also advocated mail-in voting as necessary, also voted early and in person for Delaware’s primary last week.
If mail-in voting was so great and so secure, why are Democrats who want it so badly not going to vote that way?
