A major abortion ruling just shocked the nation and the news is spreading. Millions of Americans across the country are stunned by this news — it could all be over now.
U.S. District Court Judge Lance Walker dismissed a lawsuit brought by Maine Family Planning against the Trump administration’s “Protect Life Rule,” marking a key victory for pro-life taxpayers.
In short, the rule prevents providers from using Title X funds to “perform, promote, refer for, or support abortion as a method of family planning.” It was enacted last year.
Since Title X family planning funds are part of the abortion industry’s taxpayer-funded gravy train, Planned Parenthood, the Center for Reproductive Rights, and others have fought hard against the rule.
Planned Parenthood and Main Family Planning even announced that they were going to drop the Title X program altogether instead of complying with the restrictions. Now that is sad.
If many low-income and at-risk populations depend on Title X funding, why would these providers stop using the program? Well, the answer is simple: They care more about abortion. It is their cash cow.
