Governor Ron DeSantis (R) continues to build his case as the top candidate for the Republican presidential nomination in the 2024 presidential election.
DeSantis is neck and neck with former President Trump, according to USsportsbonus.com. They found that Trump and DeSantis “both have 4/1 odds to win be the Republican nominee in 2024 (20% implied probability), making them tied for the favorite position.”
DeSantis has experienced an incredible rise to prominence. USsportsbonus.com noted that “DeSantis has improved significantly in both markets since February, when he was a distant 40/1 to win the election and 12/1 to be the Republican nominee.”
DeSantis has increasingly looked like the man for the job to retake the White House. During the coronavirus pandemic, his policies and conduct were exemplary, and he demonstrated that he had the will to fight.
Any Republican with aspirations to be the President of the United States must be willing to fight and endure against overwhelming slander and attacks. DeSantis has proven to be very reminiscent of former President Trump.
DeSantis is already overtaking Trump, and there are still years for DeSantis to build his platform. DeSantis could prove to be a more powerful Trump when 2024 comes.
