A stunning bombshell about special counsel Robert Mueller just dropped. Fox News has confirmed the truth by airing an interview with a high-ranking Republican office.
Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC), a staunch Trump ally, said on Fox News that Mueller “tried to scare people into ratting on Trump. It didn’t work. They were over-charged and I hope they will have their case revisited.”
Graham’s appearance on Sean Hannity’s program has set off a wave of speculation about what will happen next, especially since Attorney General Robert Mueller is aggressively investigating the origins of the Trump-Russia witch-hunt.
However, Graham said, “You don’t want to undermine a big case by throwing stuff out that is iffy,” and that’s why Barr is currently keeping his powder dry. There’s no telling what could be just around the corner.
Already, Inspector General Michael Horowitz is reportedly preparing to release a damning report on former FBI Director James Comey’s role — and it’s very possible that the Mueller connection could become even more apparent.
Regardless, Mueller’s team certainly outdid their coverage. “The worst thing you can do is over-charge somebody,” said Graham, who chairs the Senate Judiciary Committee. This could soon come back to haunt Mueller.
