According to Jack Posobiec of One American News Network, it’s going to be left up to Attorney General William Barr to decide whether to indict former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.
Inspector General Michael Horowitz has recommended McCabe for criminal referral because of lying repeatedly to FBI investigators about where leaks to the Wall Street Journal came from, including lying under oath.
With a grand jury seated early on in the investigation expiring and two different prosecutors involved leaving the DOJ, however, the decision to prosecute is going to be left to Barr and his deputy Jeffrey Rosen after Washington D.C. U.S. Attorney Jessie Liu essentially decided not to decide on the matter.
President Donald Trump has more swamp to drain, it seems, if he wants to see justice in these matters. What good does it do to bring these behaviors to light if they aren’t going to be prosecuted?
It sends the message that people are getting away with a lot of dirty deeds in Washington, especially if they are trying to take out Trump. Letting Comey and McCabe get away with their dishonest efforts to smear and malign Trump out of office will only embolden the next group who doesn’t want to deal with election results.
