The 2020 Democrat presidential field certainly has its share of problems, and prominent Democrats have at times expressed their concerns with this field, how far left it has drifted, and the relatively low chances many of them have of defeating President Donald J. Trump, who is likely to be the Republican nominee in 2020.
But Joe Biden seems to be in a class of his own. Some of his gaffes are remarkable in the television and Internet era, where every mistake is broadcast across the world to billions of people within minutes.
Joe Biden’s latest gaffe has left millions of Americans whether the former Vice President is up to the job mentally. The job he wants is one that requires mental fitness and health. But Biden’s comments this past week lead many to believe that Biden just isn’t “all there.”
This time, what he said was caught on video. Said Biden, “Poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids.” President Trump says that Biden isn’t playing with a full deck.
Biden’s horrifying comments could reveal a shocking internal process: he seems to believe that children who aren’t white are all poor. And of course, he couldn’t be more wrong. Under President Trump, especially, black unemployment has dropped. Hispanics have experienced near-record employment levels as well.
Biden is exposing one of either two problems, either of which is disqualifying for a man who wants to be President of the United States: (1) He has racist ideas about wealth, or (2) he got incredibly confused while giving a basic speech and delivering fairly common remarks about economics and education. In either case, we’re talking about a man who clearly should not be allowed in the Oval Office.
