Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo UNLEASHED on the Biden administration recently, directing a pointed letter to Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Xavier Becarra on December 28.
Ladapo’s main grievance was that the Biden administration had been stopping lifesaving coronavirus treatment from being brought to Florida.
The letter began by defending Governor Ron DeSantis, saying that the representation of DeSantis and his policies have not been accurate.
Florida is not making the pandemic worse, as liberals like to say. In fact, they’re one of the safest states in the union.
“Without the heavy hand of government mandates, Florida is above the national average in the percent of people receiving a COVID-19 vaccine,” Ladapo said. He attributed this to a “rapid increase in the availability of monoclonal antibody therapy treatments across the state.”
In case you’re wondering, the rapid response was all thanks to Governor DeSantis.
